The Kern County Black Chamber of Commerce was founded in 2001 by Ali and Earlena Morris. The KCBCC was founded with the goal of helping and supporting black business owners thrive. The founders worked tirelessly towards the growth of the black business community. For over 20 years the KCBCC has helped uplift the economic landscape for businesses in Kern . It has been helping small businesses grow over the years and given members access to opportunities to help get more exposure and grow their business further.
Create a prosperous and thriving African American business environment. The Kern County Black Chamber of Commerce is on a mission to work in low and moderate income communities and bring them support toward wealth building strategies. We also want to establish connections to the customers in our community who may have the option to choose our member services. Here in times of financial and economic crisis, businesses need their own survival kit.
Every business owner has the same opportunities to succeed but only if they have the same access to the information so they will be welcomed onto the same level playing field.
